About this role
Kaseya is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the design and development of endpoint agent capabilities for its Remote Monitoring and Management platform. You'd work primarily in Rust, building cross-platform systems software that runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The role spans the full lifecycle—from technical design through production support—and requires deep expertise in systems-level concerns: process management, networking, filesystem access, concurrent programming with async runtimes, and secure communication protocols like TLS, WebSockets, and gRPC.
This is a hands-on position that demands both strong technical depth and the ability to collaborate across teams. You'll investigate production issues, drive root-cause analysis, participate in design and code reviews, and mentor other engineers. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of systems software experience (ideally with C, C++, or Rust), at least two years shipping production Rust code with concurrent or asynchronous programming, and proven success delivering cross-platform native software. Experience with endpoint management products, performance-critical C/C++ development, AWS, or open-source systems work would strengthen your candidacy.
The role is fully remote and based in Miami. Kaseya manages over 15 million endpoints globally and is backed by Insight Partners, positioning this as a high-impact opportunity within a fast-growing company.
