About this role

BearingPoint Ireland's Data & AI practice is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead end-to-end data architecture design across complex client engagements. You'd own the full spectrum of work—from translating business requirements into logical and physical data designs, through data modelling and integration patterns, to migration planning and governance frameworks. This is a client-facing, delivery-led role where you'll work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and platform specialists to build scalable, analytics-ready architectures that support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.

The role demands at least five years of hands-on data architecture experience in client environments, with strong expertise in data warehouses, lakehouse designs, and modern platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric. You'll need solid SQL skills, practical experience with integration tooling (ADF, SSIS, Kafka, Talend), and the ability to design across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments. Beyond technical depth, you should be comfortable facilitating workshops, documenting architecture decisions, and providing technical leadership to delivery teams working in Agile models.

Based in Dublin on a hybrid arrangement, you'd join a consultancy that emphasizes collaborative culture, continuous learning through external training, and clear career development with a dedicated development manager. The package includes competitive salary, private health insurance, pension contributions, and wellness benefits, alongside flexibility in how your team structures remote and in-office time.
