About this role

AGE Solutions is seeking a Middle-Tier Database Developer to build and maintain backend systems supporting mission-critical DoD medical logistics applications. You'll split your focus between C# and .NET development on one side and Oracle database architecture and optimization on the other, designing scalable middle-tier services that handle complex data transactions like EDI. The role demands someone equally comfortable writing RESTful APIs and business logic layers as they are tuning queries, building stored procedures, and modeling relational databases—essentially bridging the application and data layers with strong technical depth in both.

You'll need a minimum of five years of related experience, a bachelor's degree, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a NACLC clearance. The position requires DoD IAT Level II certification (such as CompTIA Security+) and strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API, Oracle PL/SQL, and Entity Framework or Dapper. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and ideally some exposure to CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure is valuable. Prior work in government contracting or military medical supply chain environments is preferred but not required.

Based in Northeast Philadelphia, this is a full-time, in-office role with a Wednesday on-site requirement at the client facility; expect occasional work outside normal hours for deployments and production support. You'll collaborate regularly with government personnel, architects, database specialists, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues across the full application stack.
