About this role

Supporting Design Hotels' communications team from their Berlin headquarters, this six-month internship centers on executing member campaigns and managing the operational backbone of internal and external communications. You'll work across email marketing platforms, project management tools, and contact databases—translating strategic direction from global leadership into coordinated calendar updates, newsletter briefs, and event logistics. The role demands strong organizational skills and comfort with Excel and MS Office, alongside the ability to liaise across departments and flag priorities under shifting deadlines.

This position suits someone early in their career who thrives on process and detail work rather than creative strategy. You'll need fluent English (written and verbal), a grasp of brand standards, and the initiative to spot what needs doing without constant direction. German isn't required. The internship must count toward your degree program and runs January or February through mid-year at EUR 1,000 monthly on a hybrid basis.

You'd be joining a 39-country team in Berlin's creative Media Spree district, working within Marriott's luxury boutique hotel consultancy. The perks include hotel discounts across Design Hotels' 300+ member properties, a company laptop, and genuine flexibility on where you work from.
