About this role
Working as a Warehouse Driver for The ICEE Company means handling the logistics that keep frozen beverages and snacks moving through the supply chain. You'll spend more than 40% of your time driving, making deliveries and pickups while also managing warehouse operations back at the Cayce facility. Your responsibilities span receiving and shipping packages via UPS and DHL, loading ICEE delivery trucks with product and promotional materials, pulling orders for distributor pickups, boxing and palletizing inventory, maintaining logs, and occasionally covering route driver shifts when needed. The role also includes handling cash-on-delivery accounts, where you'd collect payment and process money orders.
Success in this position requires self-motivation and strong organizational skills—you'll work with minimal supervision and need to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You should have solid communication abilities, comfort with basic math, and genuine customer service instincts. The physical demands are significant: you'll regularly lift 75 pounds or more, and occasionally exceed that threshold.
To qualify, you'll need a valid Real-ID Driver's License, at least two years of warehouse or customer service experience, and the ability to pass a background check. Forklift certification is a plus. The position starts at $22 per hour and includes paid time off, health insurance, a 401(k), and other standard benefits. ICEE provides uniforms; you'll need to supply steel-toed shoes.
