About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care's Nurse Residency Program is designed specifically for newly licensed LPNs entering home care. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center—a distinction BAYADA holds as the only paid new graduate residency in home care with this credential. You'll complete a structured six-week training period with one-on-one precepting, then transition to flexible scheduling that lets you work cases matched to locations near your home. The role involves direct patient care across all age groups and diagnoses, supported by electronic charting systems and around-the-clock clinical backup by phone.
Compensation starts at $28–$31 per hour depending on shift (days, overnights, or weekends), with weekly pay. Beyond base salary, BAYADA offers paid training, PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, a 401(k) match, and an Employee Assistance Program. The company also participates in Public Service Loan Forgiveness and provides $1,500 nursing referral bonuses. You'll need a current U.S. nursing license, CPR certification in good standing, and graduation from an accredited nursing program—your NCLEX must be passed before starting.
This role suits someone seeking stability and mentorship early in their career while maintaining schedule flexibility. BAYADA's fifty-year history and focus on home-based care means you'll gain diverse clinical experience while working independently in patients' homes rather than a hospital setting.
