About this role
BAYADA's Nurse Residency Program is designed specifically for newly licensed LPNs ready to launch their careers in home health care. This is the only accredited paid residency program of its kind, offering structured entry into nursing practice with real earning potential—$28 to $31 per hour depending on shift—from day one. You'll complete a six-week training and precepting phase, then move into flexible scheduling that lets you choose cases matched to locations near your home, giving you control over your work-life balance while you build clinical experience.
The role centers on one-on-one patient care across all age groups and diagnoses, supported by weekly pay, electronic charting systems, and around-the-clock clinical backup by phone. BAYADA pairs this with solid benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401K option. The program also offers a $1,500 nursing referral bonus and qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness if that applies to your situation.
This opportunity suits recent graduates who want mentorship, flexibility, and the chance to explore different patient populations without the pressure of independent practice immediately. You'll need a current U.S. nursing license, CPR certification, and graduation from an accredited program—but if you haven't yet passed your NCLEX, BAYADA hosts info sessions to help you prepare.
