Your role
As an all-round logistics employee, you ensure everything runs smoothly and accurately. You will work with modern tools, including robots that assist you in picking orders. They take over part of the walking, while you maintain oversight and control.
You work precisely, think along when things can be done smarter or more efficiently, and contribute to a work environment that remains organized, safe, and pleasant. The work is active: you are constantly on the move, making every day varied.

Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
You are motivated, take initiative, and feel comfortable in an active work environment
Preferably, you have experience in logistics and are comfortable working with systems and warehouse equipment such as scanners
You work in a structured way, communicate easily with colleagues in English, and maintain overview—even during busy periods
A forklift/reach truck certificate is a plus, but not required

About this role
APL Logistics is looking for a hands-on logistics professional to keep their Amsterdam operation running smoothly. As an all-round logistics employee, you'll handle the full cycle of warehouse work—processing incoming and outgoing goods, picking orders, and managing inventory in the system. You'll work alongside robotic picking systems that handle some of the legwork, leaving you to focus on oversight, accuracy, and problem-solving. The role is physically active and varied, requiring you to stay organized and maintain control even during peak periods.
You should be motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and ideally have prior logistics experience and familiarity with warehouse systems and scanners.
