About this role

Waymo's Product Management Team is seeking someone to own the product strategy for depot network operations—the infrastructure that manages software downloads, data uploads, and other bandwidth-intensive workflows across Waymo's autonomous vehicle facilities. This role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, and real estate, requiring you to balance competing demands around charging infrastructure, networking capacity, data needs, and cost while scaling across multiple locations.

You'll need at least seven years of product management experience, ideally with a background in scaled operations, autonomous vehicles, or electric vehicle fleet management. The role demands strong analytical capabilities to work with data science and engineering teams on optimization techniques, plus exceptional stakeholder management skills to align product managers, real estate teams, networking specialists, and operations staff around a unified vision. A technical foundation—a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field—is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

This is a remote-based role in San Francisco with domestic travel one to three times per quarter and one international trip annually. The position offers a salary range of $241,000 to $297,000, plus eligibility for annual bonuses, equity, and company benefits.
