We're looking for an experienced Professional Services Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Japan. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Services, you'll be responsible for:
- Deep diving into the customer environment and their unique requirements, creating a design plan, configuring, and integrating Zscaler solutions to enable their best usage of the Zscaler Zero Trust platform
- Ensuring client needs are met and deliverables produced on time as defined in the Statement of Work
- Providing deployment services including best practice design, recommendations, and configuration
- Progressing and upholding expertise in deploying advanced Zscaler product features and functionality
- Assisting customers with testing or troubleshooting during the deployment, and engaging with Technical Account Manager and Escalate to support as required
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3+ years of prior work experience in similar positions (e.g. Professional Consultant, Solutions Architect, Security Architect, Technical Marketing Engineer or a Security Support Engineer)
- Able to work on-site in projects and collaborate with customers and partner engineers to accomplish tasks
- Experience deploying and maintaining large scale networking, firewall or security solutions in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols, Proxy and SSL, and authentication systems such as SAML, LDAP and MS Active Directory
- Fluent in Japanese with intermediate business English proficiency
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of Internet and Routing Protocols, and Internet and Security technologies
- Knowledge of Authentication and SAML/Identity Provider (IdP) systems
- Knowledge of Web-based security and network infrastructure solutions, and Traffic Forwarding and Policy Based Routing concepts
