Community Adult Nurse – Complex Care
Location: Falmouth Shifts: 07:50-20:00 & 07:50-20:00
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
- Days: £35.20 per hour
- Nights: £39.55 per hour
- Weekends: £44.06 per hour

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for individualised care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Ventilation via Mask, CVC & Infusion Pump management, intravenous drug administration and care and use of PEG.

About this role
Thornbury Community Services is seeking an experienced adult nurse to provide one-to-one complex care support for individuals living in the community around Falmouth. This role combines clinical expertise with genuine person-centered care, going beyond medical management to help clients maintain independence, pursue interests, and engage meaningfully with their communities. You'll work flexible shifts (including weekends and nights, with corresponding pay rates from £35.20 to £44.06 per hour) in a household environment, which may include pets, requiring both clinical skill and adaptability.
The ideal candidate has at least six months of recent UK complex care experience and is proficient in managing ventilation via mask, central venous catheters, infusion pumps, intravenous medications, and PEG feeds. Beyond technical competence, you'll need genuine compassion, resilience, and a commitment to building trust with clients and their families. This is a full-time, in-office position suited to nurses who find fulfillment in holistic, individualized care rather than task-focused nursing.
