Location: Falmouth Shifts: 07:50-20:00 & 07:50-20:00
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
- Days: £35.20 per hour
- Nights: £39.55 per hour
- Weekends: £44.06 per hour

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for individualised care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Ventilation via Mask, CVC & Infusion Pump management, intravenous drug administration and care and use of PEG.

About this role
Thornbury Community Services is seeking an experienced adult nurse to provide one-to-one complex care support for individuals in the Falmouth area, working shifts between 07:50 and 20:00. This role combines clinical expertise with genuine person-centered support—you'll manage complex medical needs such as ventilation via mask, CVC and infusion pump management, and PEG care, while also helping clients build independence, pursue interests, and participate meaningfully in their communities. The work is hands-on and relational, requiring you to build trust with individuals and families, adapt to household environments (including those with pets), and balance clinical competence with flexibility.
You'll need a minimum of six months' recent experience in UK complex care within the last two years, along with demonstrated competency in the clinical areas mentioned above. The role suits nurses who are genuinely compassionate and resilient, comfortable with the unpredictability of community-based work, and motivated by supporting people to thrive despite significant health challenges rather than purely clinical task completion.
TCS offers tiered pay rates (£35.20 per hour for days, £39.55 for nights, £44.06 for weekends, all including holiday pay), professional development through free CPD and revalidation support, 24/7 clinical and operational backup, an employee assistance programme, and access to refresher training. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Truro.
