About this role

Acturhire is seeking a Facultative Reinsurance Broker to work in Miami with deep expertise in Caribbean property markets. You'll need at least three years of hands-on reinsurance broking experience, with proven track record across the Spanish-speaking, English-speaking, and Dutch Caribbean regions. The role demands strong analytical skills to assess complex property risk exposures and the ability to cultivate relationships with international reinsurance markets.

Beyond client-facing broking, you'll spend significant time structuring and placing facultative property programs for sophisticated risks, while coordinating across internal teams—broking, analytics, catastrophe modeling, and client service. You'll also communicate technical reinsurance concepts to senior executives. A bachelor's degree is required, along with professional credentials (ARe or CPCU). This is a full-time, in-office position in Miami suited to someone with established Caribbean market knowledge and the credibility to operate at the executive level.
