About this role

Pivot Bio is scaling its manufacturing operations in agricultural biotech, and this role sits at the intersection of accounting, supply chain, and operations—making it ideal for someone who wants visibility across a business rather than siloed accounting work. As Senior Cost Accountant, you'll own manufacturing performance analysis, inventory costing, month-end close processes, and cost accounting controls. You'll work directly with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate cost data flows through the system, and you'll have a hand in designing cost accounting processes for a new ERP implementation.

The role demands 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with a preference for manufacturing or cost accounting background. You'll need strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience; a CPA or CMA is a plus. Ideally you have exposure to supply chain and inventory valuation, and agricultural industry experience is strongly preferred. This is hands-on work—you'll dig into the details of operations, participate in physical inventory counts, support SOX controls, and drive process improvements.

The position is full-time and in-office in St. Louis, with occasional quarterly travel. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, and the package includes stock options, employer-paid health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and flexible vacation.
