About this role
Effective School Solutions is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to lead clinical services for a small group of students with significant behavioral and emotional needs in Connecticut public schools. You'll deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions, coordinate care with school teams, and engage families through support programming. The role requires at least two years of experience with children or adolescents facing behavioral or emotional challenges and a current license as an LMHC or LICSW in Connecticut; school-based experience is preferred.
This position offers genuine stability uncommon in clinical work: a school-day schedule with no evenings or weekends, light summer hours (10 per week for five weeks), and a manageable caseload. You'll receive ongoing clinical supervision toward licensure advancement, training in school-focused interventions, and support from regional directors and your school team. Starting salary is $70,000 with competitive benefits.
The role suits clinicians drawn to direct impact with young people who are mission-aligned with addressing youth mental health in schools and prioritize work-life balance over the unpredictability of family-based or private practice settings.
