About this role

Trilon Group is seeking a Water Project Engineer with 7–9 years of drainage and stormwater experience to lead design efforts on infrastructure projects across public and private sectors. You'll own project components from concept through construction, performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preparing technical reports and specifications, and applying relevant codes and standards. The role includes mentoring junior staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing client and regulatory relationships to move projects toward approval and completion.

This position requires a PE license (or active progress toward one) and strong technical foundation in hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage design software such as Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and InfoDrainage. You should be comfortable interpreting survey and geotechnical data, managing competing priorities independently, and communicating technical information clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines practical problem-solving with attention to detail and a collaborative approach to delivering buildable solutions.

Horrocks offers a competitive salary of $105,000–$125,000 and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, generous paid time off, a 401(k) with 50% match up to 6%, professional development support, and paid professional memberships.
