About this role

Innovetive Petcare's veterinary reception team serves as the operational and emotional hub of their Tupelo hospital, making this role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of client service and clinical support. You'll manage the full front-desk workflow—greeting clients and pets, fielding phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining patient records in their practice management system. Beyond administrative tasks, you'll communicate directly with veterinarians and technicians about patient concerns and treatment needs, meaning your accuracy and professionalism directly impact both client satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

The role suits candidates with prior experience in veterinary or medical reception, healthcare, or high-volume customer service environments, though the hospital is willing to train someone with strong fundamentals in organization, communication, and multitasking. You'll need comfort discussing medical recommendations and estimates with clients, the ability to handle 30–50 pound lifts, and weekend availability including Saturdays and Sundays. A high school diploma and willingness to learn veterinary terminology and hospital procedures are expected.

Innovetive Petcare offers competitive benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, employee pet discounts, and flexible scheduling alongside training and growth opportunities. The full-time position pays $12–14 per hour and is based in-office in Tupelo, Mississippi.
