About this role
SharkNinja is actively building its consumer insights function and seeking someone to help translate what consumers actually want into products that shape their daily lives. You'd support research design and execution across both qualitative and quantitative methods, analyze consumer data to spot emerging behaviors and unmet needs, and work closely with product, marketing, and design teams to turn those insights into concrete direction. The role sits at the intersection of research rigor and business impact—you'll need to move fluidly between focus group moderation, survey analysis, and strategic recommendation-making.
This is a hands-on position that rewards adaptability and intellectual curiosity. You'll manage multiple research projects simultaneously, often in early-stage product development where the path forward isn't always clear. The company emphasizes an AI-native, innovation-driven culture where you're expected to experiment with new tools and methodologies rather than follow a fixed playbook. Success here means combining strong research fundamentals—at least two years of CPG or consumer research experience with both qual and quant skills—with the ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable stories that influence decisions.
The role is based in Needham, Massachusetts and requires in-office presence. The salary range is $61,200 to $83,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, and parental leave. Note that this is currently a future opening rather than an immediate hire, so SharkNinja is building a candidate pipeline.
