Company Description

MedTrainer is the only all-in-one compliance platform purpose-built for healthcare organizations, by healthcare professionals. For over 13 years, we have helped healthcare teams remain audit-ready and confident in their regulatory compliance through continuous innovation and deep industry expertise.

Our cloud-based platform unifies learning management, credentialing, and compliance into a single intelligent system designed to simplify complex healthcare operations. Starting June 7, 2027, you’ll participate in our structured, paid 9-week BDR Academy, gain hands-on prospecting experience, and learn from experienced sales leaders and peers—all while helping healthcare organizations address their compliance needs.

This is a remote internship paying $15 per hour.

Who we’re looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university with an anticipated 2028 or 2029 graduation date
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Coachability and openness to feedback
• Resilience, organization, and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Availability to start June 7, 2027

No prior sales or healthcare industry experience is required. We’ll teach cold calling, objection handling, Salesforce, and sales fundamentals.

We welcome students from all colleges and universities and a variety of majors. This internship offers an opportunity to build practical skills and work toward a potential return offer or future full-time BDR or Associate Sales Executive (ASE) role.

Salary range
$15—$15 USD

At MedTrainer, every role contributes to building technology that supports safer, more efficient healthcare organizations. We value collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement across all teams.

If you’re excited to grow, make an impact, and be part of a mission-driven company, we encourage you to apply.

About this role

MedTrainer's Business Development Representative internship is a structured nine-week program designed to launch you into sales with formal training and real prospecting work. You'll learn cold calling, objection handling, Salesforce, and core sales fundamentals from experienced leaders while contributing to a healthcare compliance platform used by organizations nationwide. The role is fully remote and pays $15 per hour, starting June 7, 2027.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in college with a 2028 or 2029 graduation date and brings strong communication skills, coachability, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. No prior sales or healthcare experience is necessary—MedTrainer trains you from the ground up. What matters is resilience, organization, and genuine openness to feedback as you learn the fundamentals of business development.

This internship explicitly offers a pathway: perform well, and you may receive a return offer or move into a full-time BDR or Associate Sales Executive role. It's a genuine entry point into sales at a company with thirteen years of healthcare industry credibility, not a data-entry or administrative internship.
