About this role
The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is looking for a seasoned probate and estate litigation attorney to lead high-stakes cases across their Dallas-area offices and surrounding Texas courts. This hybrid role removes the typical business development burden—you'll have dedicated support for marketing, billing, and administration—so you can focus entirely on courtroom advocacy and complex legal work. You'll handle contested guardianships, will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary breach claims, and estate planning matters, working as first chair in trials, mediations, and depositions while supervising assigned paralegals.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of focused experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship litigation, with a proven courtroom track record and confidence in high-impact cases. You'll need active Texas Bar membership (minimum two years), proficiency with Clio, TxDoc, and modern e-filing systems, and the mobility to travel between firm locations. Bilingual English/Spanish capability is a strong advantage. The position offers a base salary of $90,000–$130,000 depending on experience, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health and retirement benefits including 401(k) matching up to 5%, and genuine flexibility through generous PTO and hybrid work arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
