About this role

FINFROCK's precast building systems depend on precision from the ground up, and this Field Surveyor role is where that precision begins. You'll work directly on active job sites in Orlando, using robotic total stations and prism poles to lay out and verify the placement of precast components before and during installation. Your measurements and documentation—daily reports, layout notes, and as-built records—feed directly to the Superintendent, Project Management, and Erection teams, making your accuracy essential to keeping projects on schedule and within FINFROCK's tolerances.

The role demands hands-on experience with RTS equipment and data collectors, plus the ability to read structural and erection drawings fluently. You'll be checking elevations, confirming shim and embed locations, monitoring for settlement, and conducting field layout across foundations, walls, slabs, and utilities. This is independent work on active construction sites, so you need strong attention to detail, the physical capability to work outdoors in varying conditions, and reliable communication skills to flag discrepancies quickly.

FINFROCK offers a solid benefits package including 401K matching up to 15% of base salary, fully employer-paid health insurance for employees, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and generous paid time off. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Orlando.
