About this role

Working in IMA's Dallas office as a Senior Global Account Manager intern, you'll handle the operational backbone of global insurance submissions and account management. Your day-to-day work involves preparing new business and renewal submissions for underwriters, processing service requests from multiple IMA offices, managing policy entries across internal and partner systems, and serving as a liaison between IMA teams and international broker partners. You'll also reconcile premiums and commissions, create account workbooks and comparison spreadsheets, and communicate regularly with clients and external partners.

This role demands someone with at least five years of related insurance experience and a strong foundation in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Teams. You'll need intermediate proficiency in EPIC and Applied Systems software, along with professional designations like CISR or CIC. The position requires sharp analytical skills, attention to detail in insurance interpretation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance—though you'll work under moderate guidance on some submission tasks. Occasional travel (under 25%) is part of the role.

Note that this is listed as an internship position, which means the comprehensive benefits package described (medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, and others) does not apply. If you have substantial insurance operations experience and are seeking an in-office role in Dallas with exposure to global account management, this could be a fit; however, the internship classification may warrant clarification about compensation and career trajectory.
