About this role
Centennial is seeking a VP of Tenant Coordination to lead the tenant design and construction function across its national portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties. Based in Philadelphia with a hybrid work arrangement, this role oversees tenant coordinators and manages the full lifecycle of tenant projects—from preliminary space planning and lease review through construction oversight and store opening. You'll be responsible for estimating landlord work obligations, coordinating with architects and contractors, expediting submittals, and ensuring timely, compliant project delivery while maintaining relationships with leasing agents, legal, operations, and tenants.
The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of commercial construction experience and a bachelor's degree, with proven ability to read construction drawings, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and lead a team of coordinators and outside consultants. You'll need strong organizational and communication skills, creative problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively across multiple disciplines—from corporate management to local authorities. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and the willingness to execute day-to-day activities to meet project goals.
