About this role

Ascension's Chicago-based family medicine practice offers full-spectrum outpatient care in a well-established medical group setting. You would serve patients across the lifespan—children through adults—supported by strong administrative infrastructure including medical assistants and office staff. Call responsibilities are shared equally among the team, and the practice operates within a 361-bed hospital with Level II trauma capabilities and an integrated referral network, giving you access to specialists and resources without needing to refer outside the system.

This role suits physicians seeking stability and collaborative practice culture within a larger health system. Ascension emphasizes physician leadership and local autonomy while providing the backing of a national nonprofit Catholic organization. You'll need an MD or DO, Illinois medical licensure, and DEA registration; Advanced Life Support certification is preferred. The position is full-time and in-office in Chicago.
