About this role
At SeekWell (parent company of 1-800 Contacts), you'd own the product experience for an app-based vision exam platform—a regulated technology that millions of glasses and contacts wearers will use to get prescriptions and purchase eyewear online. This means balancing innovation with compliance; you'll need to translate complex regulatory requirements into intuitive, seamless user experiences while working across engineering, design, data, legal, and compliance teams. The role calls for someone comfortable navigating the constraints of HIPAA, privacy standards, and medical device oversight without losing sight of what makes the product simple and delightful for customers.
You'll plan and execute the product roadmap, lead customer discovery to validate real pain points, and shepherd ideas from conception through launch in an agile environment. Success requires strong data literacy—you'll track KPIs, run A/B tests, and make decisions informed by metrics. You'll also partner closely with marketing and ecommerce to shape go-to-market strategy and understand how customers respond post-launch. This is a fast-paced role that demands flexibility and the ability to shift approach as business needs change.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of consumer-facing product management with mobile app experience, plus demonstrated success in regulated or compliance-heavy environments. Experience with advanced mobile technology (facial recognition, lidar, device sensors) is expected; medical device background is a plus. You'll need strong technical literacy to discuss algorithms and data structures with engineers, excellent communication across all organizational levels, and comfort working in Jira, Figma, and analytics tools. The position is hybrid from Draper, Utah, requiring 1-2 days onsite weekly.
