About this role
Veriforce is seeking an HSE Specialist to work remotely from Houston, supporting clients across high-risk industries in building and refining their contractor risk management programs. In this role, you'll move beyond traditional safety compliance to become a strategic advisor—conducting risk assessments and audits, analyzing contractor performance data against industry benchmarks, and translating complex OSHA regulations into actionable safety strategies. You'll work directly with diverse clients to design tailored programs, identify compliance gaps, and recommend evidence-based solutions that measurably improve safety outcomes and reduce risk across their supply chains.
The ideal candidate brings at least four years of HSE experience with a strong background in contractor risk management, safety auditing, and compliance. A recognized safety certification such as ASP, CSP, CHST, or SMS is highly preferred. Beyond technical expertise, you'll need to excel at client relationships, data analysis, and communication—presenting findings clearly, developing training materials, and guiding organizations through implementation. You should stay current on OSHA developments and industry trends, and be comfortable representing the organization at industry events.
This is a full-time position suited to someone who finds purpose in preventing incidents and building safer workplaces, and who wants to influence safety practices across multiple organizations and sectors rather than within a single company.
