About this role
Supporting insurance and annuity planning at Annex Wealth Management means diving into the technical side of how life insurance, annuities, and related products fit into clients' broader financial pictures. You'll review existing policies, identify coverage gaps, pull illustrations from carriers, and prepare analyses that help wealth managers and their clients make informed decisions. This is analytical work grounded in real client needs—income replacement, retirement income, legacy planning, risk management—rather than sales-driven activity.
The role suits someone early in their financial services career (0–3 years of insurance or annuity experience) who is genuinely curious about how insurance planning works and wants to build expertise over time. You'll learn from experienced advisors, stay current on products and regulatory changes, and have the company support your pursuit of advanced designations. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with a balanced workload, and you'll be expected to contribute ideas for improving the team's processes as you settle in.
This is an in-office position in Brookfield, Wisconsin, at a privately held firm that has won Top Workplaces recognition multiple times. Annex offers standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, paid time off, and summer hours. The role is best for someone motivated by the idea of becoming a trusted technical resource and genuinely interested in helping clients achieve their financial and legacy goals through thoughtful insurance planning.
