About this role

Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis is seeking maternal fetal medicine physicians to join an established consultative practice at a Level 4 perinatal center. The role offers a primarily office-based schedule with home call every fourth week and weekend—no in-house call requirements. You would manage complex obstetrical cases ranging from consultation-only to comprehensive prenatal care, with deliveries handled by the hospital's OB hospitalist team. The practice is well-resourced, including two genetic counselors, fetal and maternal nurse navigators, ten sonographers (four with echo certification), and a developed fetal/neonatal palliative care program.

The position includes meaningful teaching opportunities with OB and family medicine residents, as well as departmental education through case presentations and potential statewide outreach. You'll work within a state-of-the-art 268,000 sq ft women's hospital featuring 109 private NICU rooms directly connected to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. The practice currently has two nurse practitioners on staff and is hiring additional support to expand prenatal and diabetes in pregnancy services.

Compensation is competitive and includes a starting bonus, production/quality bonus potential, relocation allowance, CME funding, comprehensive health benefits, 403(b) retirement with employer match, malpractice coverage with tail, and generous paid time off. Candidates must hold an MD or DO with Indiana medical licensure prior to hire and preferably maintain Advanced Life Support certification.
