About this role

Ascension's primary care clinic in Tulsa is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient team of four physicians and three other advanced practice providers. You'd be working within a large integrated health system—part of a 500-bed hospital and Level I Trauma Center serving roughly a million people—while maintaining the autonomy and local focus that comes with being embedded in a specific community practice. The role emphasizes patient education and counseling on preventive care and treatment options, alongside thorough documentation and clinical coordination within the broader referral network.

The position requires an NP with prescriptive authority licensed in Oklahoma (or PA with equivalent credentials), a Master's degree in Nursing, BLS certification within your first month, and DEA registration preferred. This is a full-time employed role within a nonprofit Catholic health system known for physician-led collaboration and long-term practice stability. If you're drawn to primary care in an established team setting with the backing of a national health system but want to maintain meaningful local practice, this could be a solid fit.
