About this role

Ascension's gynecology practice in Tulsa offers a full-time employed position within a large, integrated health system serving roughly one million people across a 500-bed Level I Trauma Center. You would join an established team of two physicians and one advanced practice provider, sharing call responsibilities in a mixed practice setting with access to robotic surgery capabilities and dedicated support staff. This is a physician-led environment emphasizing collaboration and long-term stability, grounded in Ascension's mission-centered Catholic healthcare values.

The role centers on direct patient care—evaluating, diagnosing, and treating gynecology patients while leveraging advanced clinical skills. Beyond clinical work, you'll contribute to quality improvement initiatives, recommending and implementing strategies to enhance outcomes and cost-effectiveness. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology, and obtain Oklahoma medical licensure and DEA registration prior to the start date. Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.

This position suits physicians seeking stable, employed practice within a national nonprofit system that balances local autonomy with broader institutional support. The shared call structure and established team suggest a sustainable pace, while access to robotics and a large referral network provide clinical scope and resources typical of major health systems.
