About this role

Ascension's dental hygienist role in Milwaukee places you in a school-based setting where you'll deliver preventive care—screenings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and X-rays—while educating students and families about oral health and its ties to overall wellness. You'll manage clinical equipment and patient records through dental software, and communicate findings and follow-up recommendations to parents and guardians, making you a key bridge between clinical care and family engagement.

To qualify, you'll need current Wisconsin dental hygiene credentials and BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of hire). The role requires either a high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience, an associate or technical degree, or four years of applicable job experience. A valid Wisconsin driver's license is preferred, as you may travel between locations across the Milwaukee area. The position runs 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. full-time, in-office.

Ascension is a large nonprofit Catholic health system known for supporting its associates and recognized among the best places to work in healthcare.
