About this role
Ascension's Nuclear Pharmacist role in Nashville focuses on the specialized and regulated work of nuclear medicine pharmacy. You would manage medication selection, dosing, and dispensing within this narrow clinical domain, review orders for safety and efficacy, resolve drug-related issues, and communicate directly with physicians and clinicians to support patient care. The position also involves compounding and dispensing medications to ensure accurate delivery.
This role requires a Tennessee pharmacy license and a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy obtained before your start date. Critically, you must already hold Authorized User status and have hands-on nuclear pharmacy experience—this is not an entry-level position. You'll work full-time and in-office at Ascension, a large nonprofit Catholic health system based in Nashville.
