About this role

Ascension's Primary Care NP/PA position in Tulsa places you within an established outpatient practice as part of a large, integrated health system serving roughly one million people. You'll work alongside physicians and other advanced practice providers in a collaborative, mission-centered environment, with the stability of an employed role at a nonprofit organization. The facility itself is a substantial 500-bed medical center with Level I Trauma capabilities, giving you access to a robust referral network and institutional resources.

The role centers on direct patient care and education—counseling patients and families on preventive health, treatment options, and available resources while maintaining thorough clinical documentation. You'll need a PA license with prescriptive authority from Oklahoma, BLS certification within your first month, and ideally one year of prior experience and a master's degree. Ascension emphasizes physician-led collaboration and local autonomy within its national structure, which appeals to providers seeking both support and practice independence.
