About this role
Ascension Seton in Austin is seeking a PM&R physician to join an established interdisciplinary spine practice working closely with orthopedic-spine surgeons and neurosurgeons. You would deliver comprehensive, evidence-based outpatient spine care in a Monday-through-Friday clinic setting with access to in-house fluoroscopy for interventional procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration and efficiency, supported by experienced clinic staff and established workflows using Athena EMR.
This position suits a physician with strong interest in procedural spine care who values working within a team-based model. While interventional spine experience is preferred, the collaborative environment and access to surgical partners create opportunity to develop or deepen procedural skills. You would also have opportunities to teach residents and fellows. There is no weekend or call obligation.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO with current Texas Medical Board licensure or credentialing prior to the hire date. Ascension describes itself as a physician-led, mission-centered Catholic health system emphasizing long-term stability and local autonomy within a national network.
