About this role
Ascension's neurology position in Tulsa offers a full-scope outpatient practice within a large, integrated health system serving roughly one million people. You would evaluate and treat a diverse patient population while working at a 600-bed ACS Level I Trauma Center, with the stability that comes from a nonprofit employer known for low provider turnover and physician-led collaboration. The role is employed rather than independent, providing the security of a national network alongside local autonomy.
Beyond clinical practice, there's genuine opportunity to engage in medical education and research aligned with your interests—a meaningful addition for those wanting to contribute beyond direct patient care. You'll need board certification or eligibility in neurology, Oklahoma medical licensure, and DEA registration prior to your start date, along with current Advanced Life Support certification.
This suits someone seeking a stable, mission-driven environment with a substantial patient base and the infrastructure of a major health system, rather than a high-volume private practice or academic research focus.
