About this role

At Ascension's Milwaukee location, this role bridges clinical nursing and professional development. You'll work with leadership and frontline staff to identify gaps in nursing competency, then design and deliver educational programs to close them. The work spans program development, implementation, and evaluation—using data and assessment tools to measure whether learning translates to practice. You'll also help shape interprofessional competency standards that support nurses practicing at their full scope of licensure.

The position requires an active RN license and BLS certification (obtained within your first month if needed). A nursing diploma from an accredited program is the baseline education requirement. If you're an experienced nurse interested in shifting into education and program design rather than direct patient care, and you're comfortable working in a structured healthcare system, this could be a solid fit. Ascension offers typical health system benefits including tuition support through their Vocare program, retirement matching, and professional development resources.
