About this role
Ascension's Milwaukee location is seeking a Certified EEG Technician to perform diagnostic neuromonitoring across multiple specialized areas. You'll set up and operate EEG, evoked potential, and polysomnography equipment; prepare patients and their records; monitor their condition throughout procedures; and document and score results. The role requires careful attention to data quality, including recognizing and correcting for artifacts, and reporting any adverse reactions.
To qualify, you need either a high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience, an associate's or technical degree, or four years of applicable job experience. You must obtain BLS certification within your first month and hold one of several ABRET credentials—such as EEG Technician, Evoked Potential Technologist, or Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring specialist—within six months of hire. Prior neurodiagnostic registry experience is preferred. This is a full-time, in-office position within a large nonprofit health system.
