About this role
Ascension's Milwaukee cardiovascular lab is seeking a technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'd prepare patients for testing, monitor their condition throughout procedures, operate specialized equipment, and ensure accurate data collection—flagging any anomalies or technical issues to the clinical team. The role combines hands-on patient care with technical precision and requires close attention to both equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
To qualify, you'll need one of three credentials (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiographic Tech in Electrophysiology, or Radiologic Technologist in Radiography) obtained before your start date, plus BLS certification within your first month. Your background should include either an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma with two years in the field, or four years of applicable job-specific experience. Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications are preferred but not required.
