Adult Private Duty – Home Health
Shifts: Su, M, W, F 7a-7p or 9a-7p

What You’ll Do

  • Provide companionship, safety, and support

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, toileting, transfers)

  • Support errands/appointments as needed

  • Observe and report changes in condition

  • Help patients remain safe and independent at home

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ year caregiving in home health, hospital, assisted living, or similar

  • ADL experience (bathing, dressing, meals, transfers, etc.)

  • Experience with Hoyer lift or sliding board

About this role

VitalCaring Group is hiring Personal Care Assistants for one-on-one home health shifts in the Sugar Land area, working full-time on a consistent schedule of Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am to 7pm or 9am to 7pm. The role centers on direct patient care—assisting adults with bathing, dressing, meals, toileting, transfers, and light housekeeping, while also providing companionship, monitoring for changes in condition, and supporting appointments or errands. You'd be working independently in patients' homes, so reliability, clear communication, and the ability to stay focused on a single patient's needs are essential.

The ideal candidate has at least a year of caregiving experience in home health, a hospital, or assisted living setting, ideally with hands-on ADL support and familiarity with equipment like Hoyer lifts or sliding boards.
