Description
- Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
- Assist in providing care appropriate to a specific population by facilitating time and individualized
care of assigned patients.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Additional Preferences:
- Must be able to work every other weekend.

About this role
Ascension's long-term care facility in Milwaukee is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient support under RN supervision. You'll help residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility and transfers while monitoring their physical and emotional well-being.
