About this role

Perry Ellis International is seeking an Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and manage a growing portfolio of men's accessories accounts across major sporting goods retailers. The role splits focus between aggressive business development—cold calling prospects, creating pitches, and negotiating deals to win new doors—and account management, where you'll oversee inventory, order updates, and sell-through data for an expanding customer base. You'll start with 4 to 5 accounts generating $1M in revenue and scale toward roughly 10 accounts worth $10M, selling belts, wallets, and small leather goods into channels like Dick's Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops, and Academy.

The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally with direct exposure to men's accessories and sporting goods retail. You'll need strong Excel skills to manage inventory and sales reporting, excellent communication for buyer negotiations, and a genuine appetite for cold calling and opening new doors. Prior relationships with major sporting goods buyers or experience across both full-price and off-price retail are valuable. The position is based in Miami and requires four trips to New York annually for market meetings.

Perry Ellis offers standard benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with discretionary company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts on apparel across the company's 40-plus brand portfolio.
