About this role
Keeley Construction's Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to own the full scope of payroll operations for a construction company managing multi-state, multi-union workforces. This role demands someone with at least seven years of direct payroll experience, specifically in construction environments with exposure to union agreements, certified payroll reporting, and complex tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You'll process weekly certified payroll, manage audit requests, maintain union agreements and wage tables, handle reconciliations, and prepare reports for management, unions, and government agencies.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise with CMIC payroll software and certified reporting systems like LCP Tracker, PWC, and IDOL, along with a solid grasp of multi-state tax regulations. You'll also mentor team members and serve as backup support, so leadership capability and clear communication matter. Experience with UKG is a plus. This is an in-office, full-time position that suits someone comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to take on the technical and compliance-heavy demands of construction payroll at scale.
