About this role

Ascension's NICU travel position in Indianapolis offers direct patient care in a specialized neonatal setting within a large Catholic health system. You'll implement and monitor care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage patient discharge planning while following established protocols. The role demands strong clinical fundamentals and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify, you'll need an active RN license and BLS certification obtained within your first month. While neonatal-specific certifications—particularly the AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program and S.T.A.B.L.E. Program credentials—are preferred, at least one year of recent NICU experience is the key expectation. A nursing diploma or degree from an accredited program is required.

This is a full-time, in-office role suited to experienced NICU nurses ready to contribute to a nonprofit system recognized for workplace culture and military-friendly practices. If you have solid neonatal nursing experience and current credentials, this offers a clear opportunity to apply your expertise in a structured healthcare environment.
