About this role

Ascension's interventional radiology program in Milwaukee seeks a credentialed technologist to support complex vascular and cardiac imaging procedures. You'll position patients, optimize imaging parameters, and produce diagnostic-quality images while administering contrast media and monitoring patient responses—all within strict radiation safety protocols. The role demands precision in both technical execution and clinical documentation, with responsibility for maintaining equipment functionality and departmental standards.

This position requires established credentials before or shortly after hire: Wisconsin state radiology licensure and general radiography certification are needed from day one, while the ARRT's vascular-interventional specialty credential must be obtained within 15 months. A cardiovascular invasive specialist credential from CCI is preferred. You'll need either an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma with two years of experience, or four years of direct job experience. BLS certification must be completed within your first month.

The role suits someone with hands-on radiology or cardiac catheterization experience who is comfortable with the regulatory and safety demands of interventional settings and ready to pursue or complete the required specialty certifications while working at a large nonprofit health system.
