About this role
Ascension's Multimodality Tech role in Milwaukee combines clinical imaging and procedural support across multiple imaging modalities—radiography, cardiology, and sonography. You'll position patients, operate imaging equipment, administer contrast media and medications within your scope of practice, and ensure all images meet quality standards before submission to PACS. The work demands strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance, with attention to patient data accuracy and departmental standards.
This position requires current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and at least one specialty credential—either CCI Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Radiologic Technologist, or ARDMS Medical Sonographer certification—plus Wisconsin state radiology licensure. You'll need either a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience, an associate's or technical degree, or four years of applicable job experience. The role operates on a 7/70 schedule (seven days on, seven days off), working overnight shifts from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., though the employer is open to discussing alternative 12-hour shift arrangements.
