About this role

Ascension's tertiary care campus in Milwaukee is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units. In this role, you'll work with complex patients requiring progressive care expertise, serving as a clinical coordinator who bridges communication between medical disciplines to ensure cohesive treatment plans. Your responsibilities center on patient stabilization, safety advocacy, precise documentation, and responsive deployment to wherever the hospital's most acute cases need support on any given shift.

The position requires a Wisconsin nursing license (or current multi-state compact license) and BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire. While three or more years of nursing experience with med/surg and progressive care training is preferred, the core requirement is your RN credential and ability to manage high-acuity patients.
