About this role
Working as a Neuroendovascular Interventional Technologist at Ascension's Jacksonville facility means supporting complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a specialized imaging environment. You'll position patients, configure technical parameters, and administer contrast and medications while closely monitoring patient responses and reporting any complications. Your core responsibility is enabling Radiologists and Physician Assistants to perform advanced interventional work safely and effectively, which requires strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance at every step.
This role demands current BLS certification and either ARRT registration or CCI cardiographic credentialing—both required before your start date. You'll need at least an associate degree or equivalent high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience, though four years of direct job experience can substitute for formal education. Prior experience in neuroendovascular surgery is strongly preferred and would be valuable given the specialized nature of the work.
Ascension is a large nonprofit Catholic health system with a stated commitment to inclusive workplace culture. The position is full-time and based in-office in Jacksonville.
