About this role

citizenM's Wellbeing and Workplace Partner role centers on building a healthy, safe workplace where employees can perform at their best. You'll develop and lead occupational health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives across the organization, working closely with managers, HR, and operational teams. This involves managing sickness absence processes, coaching leaders on early intervention for stress and burnout, ensuring compliance with Dutch health and safety legislation, and driving continuous improvement in how the company prevents absence and supports employee wellbeing.

The position requires strong expertise in occupational health, workplace safety, and absence management, combined with the ability to translate data and employee feedback into practical programs. You'll partner with an HR Data Analyst to identify trends, evaluate initiatives, and recommend improvements, while also coordinating workplace policies for hybrid and remote working. A pragmatic, action-oriented approach is essential—you'll need to build trust across the organization and move quickly from identifying opportunities to implementation.

Based in Leiden with hybrid flexibility (around 100 days in office annually), this full-time role suits someone with proven experience developing and implementing wellbeing or health and safety initiatives who can balance compliance requirements with genuine employee support. You'll need the right to work in the Netherlands, as visa sponsorship isn't available.
