About this role

Oscar Medical Group is building out its virtual urgent care operation and seeking a bilingual physician to work weekend shifts serving their insurance members across multiple states. The role centers on delivering remote-based care through audio, video, and written communication—leveraging virtual exam tools, remote monitoring equipment, and point-of-care diagnostics to diagnose and treat patients without in-person visits. You'd collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health clinicians, and other providers on complex cases, manage follow-ups on labs and imaging, and participate in huddles and case conferences as part of a coordinated care model.

The position requires an MD or DO with board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine, plus at least three years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience and two years of virtual care delivery. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. You'll need active licenses in Tennessee and Florida through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact and must be willing to obtain additional state licenses in Oscar's service areas, with the company's support. Having an IMLC Letter of Qualification already in hand would speed up credentialing.

This is a part-time remote role with a fixed weekend schedule: two 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You must reside in one of Oscar's designated states. The base pay ranges from $109 to $143 per hour, with final offers determined by your relevant experience and qualifications.
