About this role

WPP Media is seeking a Social and Influencer Executive to manage brand safety and reputational risk for L'Oréal's beauty brands through influencer partnerships. Based in Melbourne and working in-office three days per week, you'll act as the primary gatekeeper for influencer vetting, assessing whether potential partners align with brand values before campaigns launch. The role combines continuous monitoring of influencer activity across social platforms with proactive risk identification, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like TTA guidelines while using tools such as Traackr and AI solutions to streamline processes.

Success in this position requires a sharp analytical mind with deep fluency in social media culture and influencer marketing dynamics. You'll need meticulous attention to detail, regulatory knowledge of influencer marketing frameworks, and strong project management skills to juggle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Equally important is the ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly to internal teams, talent agents, and stakeholders—bridging the gap between legal requirements and practical campaign execution.

This role suits someone who is genuinely passionate about brand safety and the beauty industry, with a native understanding of how social platforms and influencer partnerships evolve. You'll work collaboratively with advocacy, legal, and PR teams, contributing to training and best-practice sharing across the business. Wavemaker offers a competitive salary, 20 days holiday (increasing to 25), paid parental leave, flexible working, and access to WPP's global networks for professional development.
